£185,000 road improvements on the #A830 near Loch Eil Station are set to start tomorrow for 2 weeks. The project will take place between 7am & 7pm, a 10mph convoy system will be in place during the works. No works are programmed for Sat or Sun. More here: https://t.co/503K6OMELJ

SNP Group supported an amendment by @pipinboots calling on Highland Council to declare a climate and ecological emergency and update its commitment to a carbon neutral Highlands by 2025. Delighted that this critical amendment to specify a date and commit to action was accepted.

Well done @CllrNiallMcLean for raising this issue again. You were promised a review of its use last year and nothing has happened.
At today's Highland Council, @CllrNiallMcLean asked about the Council's use of Glyphosate. Holding up photos showing dead grass where weedkiller has been used in children's playparks, he asked "How can children use this play equipment without getting Glyphosate on their skin?"

Heading to a meeting of five community councils to discuss the Corran Ferry and @HighlandCouncil plans to increase fares every year for three years. @CllrDavidson it's not an issue that will go away nor will we keep quiet.
