So it has begun! Today the @EUGreenCapital and @Local_SDGs networks are meeting in Tallinn. The European Green Capital opening events are bringing to Tallinn representatives from 57 cities. You are all very welcome and let's build #sustainable and #resilient cities together!

In partner cities Glasgow, Tallinn, Gävle and La Rochelle, the @URBACT Local Groups have defined #governance missions focused on #Enabling an SDG culture and planning processes in local administrations using the #SDGs. Way to contribute to #SDG17 and enhance #PolicyCoherence!

In #GG4C partner city Schiedam, the URBACT Local Group defined the priority mission for the city to keep all neighborhoods #safe, clean and intact. Check out the focus of their Integrated Action Plan and how all ULG members were appointed.

#GG4C partners have set the vision and missions for their Integrated Action Plans using the #SDGs. Check how Veliki Preslav used a #strategise approach and turned its vision to become the most sustainable small city in Bulgaria into two holistic #missions.

#GG4C: 3 approaches to action planning using the #SDGs. 1. #Strategise to develop a holistic strategic plan for the SDGs. 2. #Enable an “SDG culture” and sustainability governance using the #GlobalGoals. 3. #Experiment with solutions to concrete SDG challenges.

19 Integrated Action Plans – 68 Missions – 288 Actions. Action plan will contribute to localised #SDG targets through a careful planning process, starting from where we want to be in the future. #Vision to setting #missions and locally adapted SDG targets and selecting #actions.

1 network – 19 cities – 19 @URBACT Local Groups – over 200 stakeholders mobilised! Together with their local groups, #GG4C partners have been exploring the #SDGs and the #2030Agenda, defining local #priorities and #targets and co-creating #actions to achieve the goals.

Tallinn leads a network of cities sharing experiences in implementing the UN SDGs in city government: @Local_SDGs. Also our @EUGreenCapital opening conference on January 20th focuses on #sustainability governance with @CoHedegaard as the keynote speaker
