Without putting words into Marc's mouth, I am going to believe that because he competed at the highest level as a player, that he knows this is on his team. They controlled their own destiny. It's why he's where he is and is successful in what he does. Accountability.

Was their play good enough to deserve a spot in playoffs? No. It wasn't. When you have your own destiny in your hands, and throw it away? Let's be real. I am so glad that I do not allow myself to lose sense of reality as it pertains to fandom.

In the last 11 splits (2021-25). I believe the best players should play, regardless of representation and making people feel good. If the NA talent overcomes, that's great. The results are what they are, however. I don't think it's a problem that is hard to fix, with buy in.

NA Lol Esport Realities: Academy doesn't only require funding, but also a overhaul of the ecosystem and payment structure including Tier 1. Only 1 team (EG 2022) can claim a domestic title (with int qual on the line), with 3/5 players who made their debuts in LCS. (cont)

So many statements being made less than one month into the season as an indictment on teams and players. It's like the league community and pundits never learn, nor can help themselves. Excitement is fine, makes sense. Condemnation, however? Yeah, crickets in August always.

What sucks about being someone that bases much of their content around stats... is that you are beholden to these sites that simply cannot put up the stats quick enough. MVK/SHG ended how long ago? Where is G3? What about BLG/IG? Hobby = its fine. Business = unacceptable.

Maybe it’s big headed of me, and many others definitely think this.. but NA is so fixable it’s unreal. Leadership needs to lead and in the right direction. It’s not hard.
