Friday Night is our annual Richard Evans Memorial Presidents charity match. All money taken on the gate and raffle will be donated to Jensen Jones just giving page raising money for the Liver Transplant Centre in honour of current Daff Mason Jones. (Please watch Jens video.)

Along with all the new pitch maintenance machinery purchased over the summer, today was the first run out of our new line marker. Pitch is coming on great and is sure to be appreciated by all who grace it this season

Today we learnt of the sad passing of ex Daff player Jamie Selvey. Part of our successful cup winning team in 2002 he will always be a part of our great history. Thoughts and prayers go to Jamie's family and friends. Rest in peace Selv. Fly high.

Also please remember the whole of the club and field are our licenced premises so it's the law that only alcohol bought at the club can be consumed there. Finally we hope everyone has a wonderful carnival.

Please remember we are all volunteers working very hard today so please be patient if the wait for food or drink is a bit longer than you'd normally like. We prefer cash but do have card facilities and the main bar will have a queuing system in place for this.

Its carnival day, one of our favourite days of the year. Its going to be a very hot one. Hope everyone stays safe in the sun. We have water bottles refilling available from the tap at the end of the main stand. The kitchen staff will also do it but that queue is always long.
