Any sacrifices we make in order to be faithful are nothing—let me say that again—NOTHING compared to what we will inevitably sacrifice with our unfaithfulness. Yes, it’s costly to follow Jesus in the real and raw and rough day-to-day. But do not be deceived, it’s costlier not to.
