We appreciate our local first responders and EMAs for coming to today’s demo and learning about power line safety!.
Today, we hosted 40 local emergency responders at our Bloomington operations center for a training session on power line safety. Our team recreated live-voltage scenarios to foster a better understanding of the dangers of electricity and the precautions needed around power lines.

Our volunteers had a great time and packed 16,354 pounds of food today!.
Our teammates rolled up their sleeves and joined Hoosier Hills Food Bank & Bloomington Rotary Club to help pack food boxes for delivery to those in need. We appreciate Hoosier Hills Food Bank, their work in the community, and for allowing our team to contribute to their mission!

More than 700 kids attended and they loved checking out the bucket truck and equipment!.
Today, our Bedford Operations Center crew participated in a touch-a-truck event hosted by the City of Bedford & the Bedford Public Library. Hundreds of kids interacted with our bucket trucks, tried on lineworker gear & learned about the work we do each day to keep the lights on.

Proud to partner with HHFB to address food insecurity in our region!.
Today, Hoosier Hills Food Bank in Bloomington received a truck carrying sixteen pallets of food, thanks to a $28,000 grant from the Duke Energy Foundation. Our team was on-hand to help unload the supplies, which will be distributed among the food bank’s 85 partner agencies.
