@LizHcks Selective border closures don't work? Really? They don't buy some time at all? Even a week, a month - to have more vaccinated, produce more antivirals, educate more on aerosol spread. Slower case rise elsewhere should = more supplies to Africa.

@LizHcks @GregDore2 Border closures did pretty much zero to stop Delta’s spread around the world or into Australia. If this variant is more infectious, why would border closures help this time?

@LizHcks This, to me, invalidates him from being a viable PM. He's not a strong leader. He simply is doing whatever he thinks is politically expedient. Really really disappointed in him. Labor doesn't deserve support if this is who they choose to be their leader.
