Blown up by a mortar. Shot in the hip by a AK-47 round, later in the calf by a ricoshet round, and later by schrapnel or the bullet shot through the Soviet Helo we were riding. Lucky for me a Navy Corpsman was there in the helo to treat me in flight with 4 staples in my elbow.

This is heartening to see. I graduated from the UnCollege, West Point, where no one would think to write anything on their graduatation covers (Dress Hats). Grads included Dems, Republicans & probably some third & no-party types. But we all took the Oath and Served as Soldiers.
