More bad news. The scythe is working its terrible way through HE History depts due to systemic government & university management failure. The removal of the cap ... the cap. I used to be Lincoln's History research external way back, & hugely impressed how they grew & innovated.
Incredibly sad as we face 6 more redundancies in History at UoLincoln on top of the loss of 3 valued colleagues (via voluntary severance). We've always punched above our weight in terms of research + teaching and this is such a sad comment on all of that work and UK HE overall.

(1/3)The reality of drumming for years even as a hobby is often damage to hearing. My parents would nag me to wear safe headphones when drumming to protect me from the noise, but I often opted for rubbish foam ear plugs or even nothing when gigging in pubs & clubs etc…
