Wrapping up our travels with a visit to NZ for the FMG Young Farmer of the Year Grand Final! 🏆 AgriKids, Junior Young Farmers, and Young Farmer of the Year contestants travel from seven regions to battle it out in a series of practical modules, agri-quizzes, speeches, and more.

The home was a great insight into an entrepreneurial and philanthropic man who invested deeply in manufacturing, education and medicine. And who continues to inspire today through those who study in the way he did, by travelling the world to advance agriculture.

By chance we found ourselves close to the village of Nuffield, Oxfordshire. We visited Nuffield Place, the home of Lord & Lady Nuffield for thirty years until their passing. It is now preserved by the @nationaltrust. 🌏 @nuffieldaust 💚 @AgriFuturesAU 🇬🇧 @NuffieldFarming

We were excited to learn that the Ferguson tractor was one of the first plastic products @LEGO_Group launched. Available in 3 colours, pre-built or as a kit, it was a best-selling product in the 1950s. LEGO and agriculture have been strong partners for a long time! 😉

Yesterday, we joined the @lidl_ireland Farm to Fork Experience with @AgriAware. This free school excursion students to explore farm to fork across an 8 acre farm, before heading on a tour of the supermarket's warehouse. 🍅🥔 🌏 @nuffieldaust 🇮🇪 @NuffieldIreland 💚 @AgriFuturesAU

On Thursday we visited @CalmsleyHill City Farm in Western Sydney. It was interesting to join a local excursion with Year 1 students exploring Australian food and fibre production! 🌏 @nuffieldaust 💚 @AgriFuturesAU

We took the scenic route and called into the Stick Shed at Murtoa. #thelegofarmer The Stick Shed was built over four months in the 1940s as an emergency grain store during WWII. It is the only remaining shed of this type today and covers 16,000m2 under roof (or 1.6 hectares)! 🌾
