With the Terra housing ready, we’re implementing wind noise reduction. We’re using this 3D spacer mesh, which is a fabric woven in three dimensions that allows sound to pass through, but not wind — NASA uses this too 🚀🛰 Visit https://t.co/yCGDAOAP53 to get your Terra!

We're currently testing these two sensors: a soil sensor to measure moisture, pH, sunlight, and temperature, and a temperature and humidity sensor. Both will connect to your Terra app via Bluetooth, so you can get the latest on your yard in real time! https://t.co/yCGDAOAP53

The PCBs (printed circuit boards) really are the heart of Terra – they contain all the parts we need to make Terra work. We have a design and are ordering parts, and thanks to CTT’s new assembly machinery, we’ll be able to put them together onsite! https://t.co/Zwic9XGl5W

We never expected to be looking at fake fur for Terra, but it’s actually a great way to suppress wind sound! The little fibers in the fur break up the wind, so Terra will get a much cleaner audio stream and yield better IDs and a better listening experience. #terralistens
