Believe me I thought I had time when I joined and somewhat managed my art block… Turns out I didn’t and having to work A TON this month also didn’t really help. :’).

I think some of us should just draw fanart for Hue’s Dess the intended way. I’ve been meaning to draw her for a while myself now (it’s been a bit). That way her actual intended design will get some love too.

Like if you can use Hue’s design as a base, you can make your own as well. It’s not that difficult. Otherwise, there are plenty of references besides the one sprite that shows her Dess. Respect the artist, for the love of God.

Like if you use this Dess give proper credit, don’t change her design and possibly even ask Hue. It’s that simple. And if you really want Dess to have antlers, design your own. People have been doing that for years, use Noelle as a base if you’re worried about character design.

Huecycles’s Dess is part of an AU and has an entire established story. She’s not meant to follow canon. She was born without antlers and they’re a massive part of character development for her story. All Hue wants is credit and no design modifications. (1/3)
let's add antlers when the design doesn't have those and the lack of them is important to her story! let's make ship art of her with a man when this version of her has a defined sexuality and does not like men! let's do that to a design that ISN'T OURS and plaster it everywhere!.

I'm so sick of Dracula movies feeling like they have to force a Dracula/Mina romance in at every opportunity. It makes zero sense. Don't say you're basing it on Bram Stocker's book when you erase the importance of Jonathan to Mina once again.

I wish artists were respected more because even within the artist community often times people don't look for the source. It takes 5 seconds to put the Dess sprite into image search and find the source. Even the Deltatraveler wiki page has a full on credit to Hue. (3/3).
