We’re excited to announce we’re awarding three new research grants! 📣 These projects are focusing on improving early diagnosis of #BowelCancer. The focus on early diagnosis was chosen because the disease is treatable if caught early.

Such incredibly sad news. I remember meeting up with Kris in the early days of CoppaFeel and was in awe of her determination and boundless spirit. Thinking of Kris' loved ones and all at @CoppaFeelPeople
We share the sad news that our founder, boob chief, colleague, friend and queen of glittering turds, Kris, has died. Kris approached life in a creative, fun and fearless way, showing us that it is possible to live life to the full with cancer. Statement at https://t.co/cTQSOTo00Z

Our research, published in the premier cancer journal @TheLancetOncol has shown unequivocally that patients treated in research active hospitals have better outcomes than those who are not. Research is a necessity not a luxury @QubPGJCCR @QUBelfast @qubengagemhls_d

Such very sad news. George was the kindest man and a huge advocate for @bowelcanceruk sharing his experience, raising awareness & giving so much of his time. He campaigned with us to lower the bowel cancer screening age to 50. My thoughts are with his family, friends & colleagues
It is with deep sadness that the BBC is announcing the death of its much-loved journalist and presenter George Alagiah. https://t.co/W5TPEKmTIP
