Russia's insistence on not deploying NATO forces in Ukraine after the war means only one thing. After the sanctions are likely lifted and a vitally needed respite, Russia will continue to implement its dream of destroying the Ukrainian state and nation.

Putin can be met in Budapest or even on Mars. Any agreement with a terrorist is meaningless, and the result will be short-lived and will only lead to another crisis. Trade agreements don’t interest Putin. He can only be stopped with an iron fist, like a ‘tomahawk’.

Putin was scared of the ‘tomahawks’ and therefore called and tried to court Trump again. Trump had a chance to realise that flattery doesn't work, only arguments of force can affect Putin. Now he has a chance to go all the way.

Anyway, the genre of ‘good conversations’ has long since been exhausted. Long ago. Let’s hope that ‘tomahawks’ are still on the menu. If one really sincerely wants to stop Putin’s killing spree.
