Huge thanks to all the local residents who helped Officers out earlier when they were dealing with a fallen tree blocking the North Kelsey Road, Caistor. The assistance of extra chainsaws meant the road could be re opened a lot quicker! #communityspirit #workingtogether

THREAD 🧡 I’m often asked what my affiliation is to policing or what the reasons are behind tweeting about policing πŸš“ Up until 10 yrs ago I knew little about policing, I consumed what we see/hear on news and anecdotally, but that all changed when I was invited on a ride along 🚨

On #InternationalWomensDay we chose to celebrate those incredible women in our teams and say thank you for all they do. We are blessed to have many outstanding women here in the FCR and we are proud to work alongside them as *equals*

We are glad to see us maintain our status as one of the best Forces in the UK at answering 999 calls, and with investment in the last year, we are also making improvements on 101 response times too Hugely proud of the efforts of our team they should rightly take credit for this

Unwrap the perfect gift this Christmas by applying to join the team as a Contact Management Operator! Handling both 999 & 101 calls you will be the first point of contact for people in crisis - it takes a cool head, a calm demeanor and strong resilience https://t.co/Qht8wZAC0C

Drones have been a game changer in our ability to keep people safe Particularly when searches involve large areas, difficult terrain, or as below poor weather. Often on scene in minutes they can quickly give us situational awareness and / or identify places to investigate! 🚁

Drivers and motorcyclists - please take care on the roads tonight, there are tricky conditions out there with lots of fog and icy patches across the county. Drive safely, and get there in one piece!

Nice to have some students from @GranthamCollege visit us this afternoon. A chance to show them a little about what we do and what happens if you call 101 / 999. Also time to educate about what is / isn't an emergency and a chance to chat about different roles in policing
