First-round @LHSAA boys basketball winners: @LincolnPrepHoop pulled off the upset on the road, as the 19th-seeded Panthers stopped No. 14 East Iberville 58-46 in Class A; and in Class B, @ChoudrantB held off Converse 65-61 at home. Both play at No. 3 seeds in round 2.

An upset to celebrate! @LincolnPrepHoop girls, seeded 12th, won 57-42 tonight at district rival Homer (5th seed) in the Class A bracket. Topping Homer for 1st time in 3 tries, Lady Panthers will be home in the quarterfinals vs. North Central for a trip to Marsh Madness in Hammond

The @LHSAA boys basketball playoff brackets are out. @RustonVarsity (19th seed in 5A) goes to No. 14 East St. John; also 19th, @LincolnPrepHoop travels to East Iberville in Class A. In Division IV, Cedar Creek (16th) goes to No. 1 Crescent City, Thursday at 6 in New Orleans.
