The decision to gut the addons for midnights launch was pretty recent so itâs more likely the bosses are being tweaked to fit the changes rather than being designed from the ground up for a post weakaura world

Nothing about this mechanic feels like it could only be done without addons. Markers will be placed on the ground in the order they come out and you run to the marker before the beam

Fire is already only a couple buttons and requires zero addons. Would have fit perfectly in midnight but instead itâs the dps spec that got the most destroyed

People are afraid of wow going to consoles because they would have to prune classes so you can play with a controller and also remove addons because you wouldn't be able to download them Good thing this new Xbox is actually a pc so we don't have to worry about all that happening

No one is advocating for blizzard to reverse their course regarding addons, even I don't want that. All I want is for my UI to look the same. I just want to choose where and how each piece of information is displayed, instead of it being bundled in some blizzard-defined area.

Addons have made the game more fair for everyone not less. If you know what needs your attention and how to grab it you can customize sounds, flashes, countdowns, etc to be a better player than you otherwise would be. Thereâs no barrier to this other than your own time
