Until drug companies are incentivized to lower their list prices, PBMs can say a lot about what they will or won’t do with rebates/discounts. But until the prices come down and PBMs change their financial forecasts, expect little change besides old money being made in new ways.

I applaud @Cigna’s announcement to align its business practices with @POTUS’s vision of empowering patients through greater transparency and lower drug prices on brand-name medicines. I urge other companies to join President Trump in putting Americans first.

NYSEG is hiking our utility bills by over 30% to pad the profits of their billionaire parent corporation in Spain. It’s robbery in broad daylight. I joined my neighbors last night to fight back, and I’ll continue doing whatever it takes to hold NYSEG accountable.

Monopoly and totalitarianism go hand in hand. If we don't break up the anti-free speech media monopolies, we will lose our democracy. 1/ A 🧵on why it's time to repeal and rewrite the 1996 Telecommunications Act. https://t.co/h1Efsp5fPQ

BREAKING: #SCOTUS, 6-3, lets Trump sideline Biden appointee Rebecca Slaughter from Federal Trade Commission. #SCOTUS will also hear arguments in December on overruling Humphrey's Executor, case that upheld Congressional limits on firing FTC members Doc:

The system is rigged. Utility monopolies like NYSEG & their foreign owners cash in. Regulators roll over. Families pay the price. That’s why we’re fighting back. Thank you, @econliberties, for joining us in the fight.

99% of political campaigns would shirk away from doing a campaign ad on “dynamic pricing” because voters wouldn’t get it, and yet:

I agree that the nexus between wealth concentration, alternative channels for political influence, and abundance would have been more clear had the author simply noted that a founder of Meta just donated $120 million of his $19.6 billion fortune to boosting abundance.

"Addressing this risk [wealth concentration] does not mean we have to choose between bigness or democracy, a false dichotomy suggested by some of the debate between Neo-Brandeisians and supply-side abundance liberals." I do not think "abundance liberals" have suggest this?

@MeadorFTC It was clear harmless error. 16,000 public comments and somehow the Chamber was unaware of the scope of the rule or its impact? Never mind. Will the FTC reissue the rule? It can do so on an expedited basis now that the prior commission did all the legwork.

Over 16k Americans weighed in on the click-to-cancel rule, overwhelmingly supporting our effort to end subscription traps. The rule was set to go into effect in May but this @FTC slow-walked it—and now a court has tossed it out, claiming industry didn’t get enough of a say.
