The "Attwood" Manuscript is a notebook of counterpoint exercises Mozart gave to an English composer/organist named Thomas Attwood who studied with him in Vienna in 1785.. Mozart scribbled corrections in Italian and German, at one point helpfully observing "You're an Ass."

The Arpeggione is a six-string fretted cello (or viol)-like instrument tuned like a guitar. Sometimes called a "Guitar Cello", it was invented in 1823, but never really caught on due to its soft sound and tuning. It's mostly remembered for the famous Sonata Schubert wrote for it.
