Serious FOMO as I leave the @ANS_org annual meeting early but I’m glad I made it out for two fantastic sessions with the great experts contributing to the Rapid Response Task Force. Thanks to great team @theboxindy for all the technical assistance and hospitality.

It's #ThrowbackThursday! In February 1885 the first Cresta Run took place in St. Moritz 🇨🇭! It counts as the predecessor of todays #skeleton sport. ❄️ Lying head-first, the participants race down the ice channel at a maximum speed of 138 km/h. 😲 https://t.co/4bL5rijZht

This is a fascinating thread on the perils of fast fashion. In the mid Atlantic, moths seem to prefer @dieworkwear’s preferred Scottish wool so “heirloom quality” is laughable. I guess that leads to the conclusion for me: don’t by cashmere.
HOW TO BUY A GOOD CASHMERE SWEATER 🧵 I want to address this comment left by someone in response to my Brick Watch Company tweet. It also gets into something I've been wanting to talk about: how to buy a good cashmere sweater.
