Being A Dad: Week 43 Busy, busy, busy time of the year and it’s even more jam packed with a fully walking 10month old exploring his new line of sight! It’s so interesting watching him in this new era but also a bit scary because he’s so adventurous. Please pray my strength 😮‍💨

If I have a morning arrival home from being on a trip, 99.99% of the time I will have this bag unpacked by the end of the day.

Being A Dad: Week 42 With Mav walking now, he’s definitely the star of the show! His newfound independence is a constant reminder of how far he’s come and how fast life moves along. Our little boy is growing up right before our eyes and I didn’t expect it to happen this fast 🥲

It’s 2025. I wonder if Petey Pablo still stands by that line about not eating 🐱

Being A Dad: Week 41 The transition for solid food is not for the weak! Spending time buying/making solids is a gamble- he’ll love it or hate it, like it today, and hate it next week. But I think we’ve found a groove now and I’m happy we stuck with it. Moral: Don’t give up!

Being A Dad: Week 40 As the year wraps up and we’re almost at 52 weeks of being a dad, I’m just really amazed at how much Mav has grown. From a little helpless bundle to now standing on his own, saying little words and waving “bye-bye” to folks (which is new)🥹

Being A Dad: Week 39 Raising 4 kids, my parents would say “I can’t get a moment’s peace!” Having one very ambitious, curious, strong and fast baby boy, I completely understand now. Between the AHT AHT’s, NO-NO-NO’s and the occasional FAFO moments, life is never dull 🥲

I was just told that I am a “Green Flag” One of the nicest compliments I’ve ever received.

Being A Dad: Week 38 A day late lol Mav has entered this daredevil phase- taking risks (under supervision of course), not being afraid to push his own limits. Of course this comes with a few “uh-oh’s” and “see, I told you’s” but I love his explorative willingness to try stuff!

I have a neighbor who must be obsessed with her leaf blower. Like… Rain or shine, she’s gonna get out there at least twice a day and blow at something for at least an hour.

I’m not playing this guessing game with yall @danitykane. Don’t yall think yall have put us through enough?!! We damaged too. Hell.

2 years ago, this older guy tried to bully me in the gym. After he saw I wasn’t going, he later tried to apologize and got upset that I told him it was too late & he needed to move around. Today he asked for a spot. I told him no and said “ And I hope that bar falls on you.” 😇

Someone responded to a comment I made on IG insinuating that my viewpoint may be incorrect, ending their response with, “How old is you?! Lol” I absolutely hate when people bring unnecessary factors into a conversation/debate. I’m gonna close out the convo every time. Cuz why?

Being A Dad: Week 37 I think imma stop calling them “recaps” because I always pull out maybe one or two things from the week so it’s not a full recap. Idk. Anyway, the teething saga continues! He has top teeth coming in now and I’m really excited to see his full smile soon 🥹

You ever meet someone in a professional capacity and the come off as a complete b*tch, but then you learn their credentials? Like…ok Miss That B*tch lol

I’ve been going to the gym 6 days/week for about a month and half, and have seen really good progress in my physique. This paired with making better dietary decisions and still not drinking hard liquor (since September ‘24) has me wanting to work harder to see more 🤞🏽

Being A Dad: Week 36 Recap We are like 90% mobile yall! Crawling fast, pulling himself up on stuff, standing unassisted at times and shuffling around on his feet around objects. It’s amazing watching these things unfold, especially when he surprises himself with new abilities 😂

Genuine question… When these U.S. officials have these hearings where they question folks, primarily with “yes” or “no” questions, is there not a consequence for not answering the question directly??? Like wtf?
