My son keeps referring to a time when he was “still 6 years old” and to his annoyance, I keep reminding him that he’s never been 6years old, he’s only 4😅😂
The whole concept of “snapping back” after pregnancy needs to be thrown away.
You shouldn’t be trying to go back to anything.
New moms,your body has changed permanently, you need to focus on making it even stronger than it was before.
And that takes a lot of time & patience.

So every year on this day, I eat go out alone, cut cake , listen to out favorite songs and talk to him in my head. Catch him up on everything. This ritual is for me and not him, I know but it works so I do it religiously.

Dying when you choose and on your own terms since your birth wasn’t a decision you were apart of. We discussed this often and in detail. Had our own therapy sessions. His choice of distractions was art. And boy, was he good. And one day the distractions weren’t enough.
This year, we need to start complimenting ladies on their awesome and strong triceps, traps, lats, biceps, deltoids etc.

Sometime last year.
Very low point mentally.
Spending all my energy convincing myself to stay alive.
There’s always a point you’re thinking, this is a low moment, it can’t get any worse, then you drop to an ever lower point while struggling to climb over the one you were at.
Reminder: do not completely isolate yourself when a depressive episode occurs. Social isolation makes it much worse. Have atleast 1 or 2 people you force yourself to interact with however hard it maybe.
