Had a whole bunch of groceries & then pulled into the feed store to get a propane tank filled & there was already a guy waiting with 5 tanks but he let me go first & afterward I shook his hand & thanked him & he was gracious & that’s how life used to go & sometimes still does.

Since early childhood (I was born just outside Fort Apache) I’ve been fascinated by Apache crown dancers (gan dancers, mountain dancers, devil dancers) and pick up related art when I can.

Had me a good day in town, estate sale and bookstores (spent so much at one that they spontaneously gave me a 10% discount). Maybe I’ll post other stuff I got. But every time I go into town I think the same thing: HOW can it be that 95% of people on the road in Tucson are morons?

It’s often said that pack rats don’t like to come out during a full moon. I will just say that I caught only one last night—but that was during full occlusion of the eclipse—and I haven’t seen any tonight so far. (Mice, however, have no such lunar aversion.)
