Coincidentally it’s been exactly one month since the announcement of my hiatus, that was actually not planned lol. Anyway. I will be making my “soft return” to Twitter and posting art now. The reason I call it a soft return is because of the following reasons (🧵):

How do you prevent your fellow citizens from being brainwashed? By reminding them of the reality and absurdity of most political extremism and war. A lot of shit happens because you unknowingly allow it to, by making these stupid fuckass comics for example.

Just look at the shit we start believing, thinking and saying as soon as a country's government starts creating enemies for their people. Look at the way Israeli children view Palestinians. Look at how Germans, not just Nazis but also everyday Germans, viewed Jews.

Political protests/protest art is not aimed directly at world leaders. It's to protect citizens from the lies and political brainwashing that comes with war and making sure leaders realize it's not working. I'm not sure you realize the importance of protesting and fighting back.
