@angstyweebsys it's a struggle, especially when you don't know how to present outwardly. to a lot of singlets a single, linear sexuality is ideal, so when we mask as a singlet, it's really hard to explain our sexuality. some of our headmates are gay men, some of them are lesbians, some bi.

Having different sexualities between system members is kinda wild.

sometimes you can be a different guy, not say anything about it, and still act however you want. the vast majority of people do not have DID as even a blip on their mind but also you would be surprised at the range in behavior you can display without any comment or suspicion

by the way, when they say "getting diagnosed with DID takes 7 years on average" they don't mean 7 years in a row with one psych before they realize... they mean 7 years of misdiagnoses, referrals to new psychs, bouncing between clinicians who call you "too complex", & testing
