This year’s rendition of Auld Lang Syne is a collaboration between two classes at CMU. The visual footage is from the “Date in A Teeter” exhibit by @CMU_DietrichHSS' Animated Storytelling course. The audio is by @CMUmusic's Exploded Ensemble. Happy New Year, Tartans! ❤️

In the FB parenting groups I’m in, so many parents have expressed despair with holidays: no money for gifts or decorations. Each time, the comments are filled other group members offering food, gifts, decorations, and other help. So wonderful to witness.

She had that amazing (and Canadian) gift to find the extraordinary in the ordinariness of life. Nobel prize winner - master of the short story. She had a way of making even the smallest detail matter. RIP Alice Munro
