it's a very telling mark of a community someone has built up when you see how the fanbase shows up to defend them. the things they say, how they say it, etc. the things that community represents become very clear.

a new year's reso this year is to play more games for myself. too often in the past few years, i've found myself not playing games because i kept telling myself how i'd like to play it on stream. but that just lead to not playing games offstream ever and stressed me out a bit.
