Breaking a long twitter silence to ask @Spotify what the hell is going on with #smartshuffle. This just came on after listening to Bach.

Is there a good response to "what's the word?" as a greeting? Because I have never – not once – said something productive.

Was a pleasure to participate in this solutions workshop with @TorontoSRI @MaRSDD and @TorontoRBOT. There's no doubt that data can be used to mitigate the impact of a crisis – how we use it, and how we protect it, are significant considerations.

This is magical.
I don’t think I could have survived this pandemic if I hadn’t been working on this piece. Listening to humpback whales and @nclrmprsd’s trumpet was a real balm for me. I hope they can be for you too! My latest for @DocProjectCBC 🐋🎺

Interesting development. Toronto cracking down on non-registered short-term rental. Major takeaway is Airbnb shows 18k listings, a far cry from the 2,800 registered with the city on their open data portal:

Hard to lose @NavdeepSBains as Innovation Minister – he has been a sterling representative for all Canadians; a supporter of Canadian-led business, tech, and a truly innovative agenda. Admire the reason for his decision to leave politics. He will be missed.

Great to see the city of Baltimore relaunch their #opendata portal. Looks great! As always, check out the data on the Namara Marketplace:

It is called a "powerful tool for transparency and accountability."

This is interesting – hard to quantify emotional exhaustion (should've used a regression model based on Star Wars fans' reaction to the prequels).
Interesting piece from @TondaMacC: Pandemic models didn’t see COVID-fatigue coming, says one of Canada’s top doctors via @torontostar #cdnpoli.
