Diogo and Andre were human beings before they were footballers, but our connections to them were forged through football. I haven't known what to say about their passing - I still don't - but I am thankful to Diogo in particular. Our number 20.

You can see why Slot wants that burst of pace in his FBs - the late sprints beyond the last line from midfield is basically the equivalent of a natural midfielder crashing the box. But it's arguably harder to track the movement of a FB into those areas.
