I have spend the last 27 years here in Japan. I have never returned even for a visit to the USA. I do not think I could handle the culture shock.
American Libertarians need to spend a month or two in Japan to personally experience the culture shock coming back to a fragmented, egocentric society.

People keep asking me how and why am I so assured of Israel's demise. First, I'm not the only person saying this. There are historians who have studied the repeating trajectories of colonial projects and empires who have no doubt of Israel's demise, though they set a longer.

Opposing "Israel" has always been right. Since 1948. Earlier even. Zionism has always been an inherently racist, colonialist ideology that requires apartheid and inevitably leads to genocide.
Today I got my first comment telling me I was wrong to oppose Israel in October 2023 but now I'm right because things have changed. I expect to receive many more such comments as people navigate the difficult cognitive dissonance of realizing they've been wrong this entire time.
