I first heard about Graham Platner through his substance free Facebook advertisements. Actually, the only thing he said in his ads was that he was not controlled by Israel. It all kind of fits together now. Good luck @GovJanetMills

Thank god and thank President Trump. Israel’s long hostage nightmare is over. I have been intensely critical of Trump over the years. But his team (including @jaredkushner, @SteveWitkoff) has been undeniably effective. https://t.co/BXbqQB8ieR

The hostage release started shortly before President Trump landed in Israel.

Thank you @YahooAuto for this week's installment of apples to oranges. This is kind of like comparing pressure washers to toothbrushes. Yes . . . theoretically they are related. No, they are in no way comparable. https://t.co/v37nk5ckXd

In California, public EV chargers now outnumber gas pumps. The California Energy Commission (CEC) announced last week that there are now 68% more charging connectors than gas-pump nozzles. That's...

I almost never comment on sports. But this @YahooSports headline has to be one of the most bizarrely discrediting reaches I’ve ever seen.

Koonin is a demagogue. We know is type. We see them wherever charlatans are able to make a buck or grab power for the low price of their integrity. The interview is devoid of substance and a black mark on @TheFP Give us credible climate reporting. https://t.co/qaLnVeJveD

In many ways, @TheFP plays a valuable role in our media ecosystem. But @bariweiss is shirking her responsibility to the truth when she proffers @TheFP platform to profiteers from the fossil fuel industry. https://t.co/qaLnVeJveD

Koonin tells @thefp's @Maddie_Rowley_ "wind and solar can at best be an ornament" to a reliable energy system. Well, in 2024 wind and solar provided 17% of U.S. energy demand (more than coal). How about the UK? ≈ 34–35% Germany≈ 43% China≈ 18–19% That's not an ornament.

The fourteen authors represent scientific consensus on the high quality of climate science and the importance of climate action.

Koonin slams a recent paper bc it only has: "[O]ne graph and a lot of text, and is authored by 14 people over five pages. Come on! Let’s do serious science!" The graph (below) *is* serious science. It is an alarming distillation of millions of hours of data and research.

Koonin explains that his recent report is "not meant to be a complete survey assessment of climate science, nor would it be a recitation of the media narrative." That's a pretty questionable starting point. What if the media narrative is accurate?

"So is climate change real?" @TheFP's @Maddie_Rowley_ credulously asks? Yes Maddie. It's real. You might as well ask "so does gravity really exist?" Or "is the earth even round?" There is a point at which asking questions turns into willful obfuscation.

Next the @TheFP and @Maddie_Rowley_ note that "U.S. corn yields haven’t been hurt by rising temperatures" This is an odd data point. There are so many confounding factors (geography, improved irrigation practices, genetic engineering, etc.) it's effectively meaningless.

Let's start with @TheFP and @Maddie_Rowley_'s mind blowing discovery that CO2: "has the important positive effect of promoting plant growth." Well, yes. So does sunlight. But too much sunlight will turn your lawn, farm flowerbed into a desert. https://t.co/qaLnVeJveD

In @TheFP, @Maddie_Rowley_ paint a picture of fmr BP Chief Scientist Steve Koonin debunking climate hysteria. @Maddie_Rowley_ is obviously not qualified to report on this subject. I'll take you through her absurd article fallacy by fallacy.

This is remarkably similar to: the Houthis, which presided over the starvation of 100ks of Yemenis; Hezbollah, which brokered the social/political collapse of Lebanon; and Hamas which brought about the ruination of Gaza. It's a death cult.

Iran's capital is literally running out of water. And the ayatollahs would rather launch missiles at Israel and develop nukes than address a crisis that threatens the lives of millions of Persians.

What are your best arguments for why #NEVI was a success/failure? I’m writing something on the topic and want to hear perspectives. From IIJA passage to end of the Biden DCFC buildout #’s: --NEVI ~183 --America (non-NEVI) ~29,000 --The EU-27 106,000 --China ~380,000

SNAP is more than just policy. It’s deeply personal. It was the safety net that caught families like mine when we fell on hard times. But now, Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans have slashed the SNAP budget by 30%, leaving working families and vulnerable Americans with
