One of the best shooting performances I've ever seen on the hardwood. I could use a lot of adjectives to describe Pax as an athlete and a person, and they would all be superlatives.
Readers from Iroquois, McLean and LaSalle County emailed about Seneca's Paxton Giertz. They said I had to go see him play. and they were right. Giertz was great, scoring 43 to beat Beecher. He's now 49th in Illinois history with 2,362 career points.

Great player on both sides of the ball. He took on a new position on D too, moving from CB to safety this year. Relentless pursuit to the ball, hit above his weight class, and did everything we asked of him. Well deserved, Nathan!.
