Mix Compitox at 2L/Ha and Depitox at 2L/Ha in 300L/Ha Water Volume. This application has worked very well both here and in previous courses I've been at. We will go again before our October overseed.

The team's hard work continues to shine through. We have had another productive few weeks focusing on refining greens. This included verti-cutting and applying a herbicide to control Pearlwort, which has started to take hold. Overall, surfaces are showing good consistency.

It has been a busy time recently, as the club championships have taken priority. Irrigation issues continue to arise, with another three repairs completed. It’s great to see more recovery of worn walkways that have been seeded and roped off over the past few weeks. #LevenLinks

The dominant dormant hard fescues on fairways continue to perform well, which is impressive considering their growth is minimal.

Here's a look at some of the improvements coming this winter for tee distance plates. Our primary focus for moisture management has been on greens, aprons, and tees. We are hopeful that the 37 days of dry weather will come to an end tonight, as forecasted. #LevenLinks

Like many courses across the country, it is challenging to keep surfaces hydrated due to the dry conditions. Jan - April 2024 - 293mm.Jan - April 2025 - 104mm. However, the course is holding up well and the previous maintenance improvements are becoming increasingly evident.

2/3 - Today, we received our new Bernard Grinders to sharpen our cylinder mowers in-house. This is a significant step forward in our efforts for improvement, and it’s great to see the support from the LLJC.

3/3 - Over the past few weeks, we have replaced the old astroturf pathway at the 1st tee with a more visually appealing monoblock surface. We have also replaced the steel fence posts; however, a few minor snagging tasks still need to be completed in the coming week. #LevenLinks

Bunker work continues with the reshaping of the green side bunkers at the 17th Green. We have highlighted this specific bunker to illustrate the need for reshaping. The bunker now integrates smoothly with its surroundings, utilizing the natural contours of the area. #LevenLinks

The 5th hole has also undergone a makeover, with the removal of the banking that hid the green, irrigation installed, and a grass path created through the center of the hole. #LevenLinks
