This is part of the implementation of Martha’s Rule that puts patients and their relatives at the centre of care. @NHSHomerton is working with @NHSEngland and @UCLPartners to to make sure it works for our patients in Hackney.

Call for Concern is a patient safety initiative that aims to help patients and families call for help and advice when they feel worried that they or their loved one is more unwell.

I learnt how to lead a team and make sustainable change for the better…. I worked with great colleagues, was respected and valued (All the things that are too often missing from the junior doctor experience)….

In somewhere small and special like @NHSHomerton it takes all consultants to help cover in the absence of our other colleagues and everyone has changed their days and prioritised this work- this ain’t easy and comes at a cost when you see the to do list but it is very special.
