The LPS team visited the Lewis Latimer House Museum in Queens! 💡. Latimer—child of formerly enslaved parents, inventor of the carbon filament, collaborator with Bell & Edison—was also a poet, painter, abolitionist & advocate for Black inventors. #STEMforAll #LewisLatimer #SciEd
