Not forgetting Bristol’s typefounding (font making) heritage! The same Fry family made excellent versions of Caslon and Baskerville in the 18th century, as documented by @Tosche_E at the very first Letter Luvvers meet-up.
Great to see Bristol’s chocolate-making heritage being remembered in the name of this new thoroughfare off Cumberland Road. The new Cargo Work in Wapping Wharf is located within the stone walls of a former Fry’s warehouse.

Great news about the Kings Head pub reopening. All Letter Luvvers are politely yet strongly advised to pay a visit to check out the incredible interior!
Buckle up for a thread about a unique pub. 🍻 The Kings Head, which has been shut since the start of the pandemic, is the only Bristol pub recognised as being of national importance in Camra’s Heritage Listed Interior and has got some of the oldest bar fittings of any UK pub
