🦊✨ A Fox With Three Ears ✨🦊 Photo by jewellery makers at @SleekitBeasties. This is the second three-eared fox reported this year. The cause is unknown but it may be due to a rare developmental mutation or a partial (parasitic) twin. https://t.co/k2FI7jcQbI

SM isn't the same today, I wonder why I still check in. With 1 in 3 posts, comments or pages being bots, and wirh the constant political spin, it makes being online increasingly frustrating. The constant manipulation makes me glad I can still turn the devices off!

Yellowknife residents have documented foxes with mottled or patchy fur that does not fit the typical patterns. Biologists and conservation officers suspect these foxes display a known coat mutation, called the Samson trait, often seen in fur farms.. https://t.co/jt0CV9tqjq

Did you know? Floppy ears & curled tails in foxes turned out to be unhealthy mutations! 🦊 As researchers L. Trut and K. Lord both note, these traits were rare and didn’t link to tameness. Today’s experimental foxes don’t have them, but some farm foxes still do! #FoxFacts
