Well that is some really, really bad news for Creighton to get just a few weeks into the season. Jackson McAndrew was going to have a huge year.

@mjdemarinis @LetItFlyCU And on the first question, I don't necessarily think it's focused on 1 or 2 individuals, or else he'd just bench them. He certainly has plenty of options. It's more of a collective thing. This group has a lot of guys who haven't built winning habits within this program yet.

@LetItFlyCU @JacobPadilla_ It’s a more common occurrence than you think. He definitely doesn’t do it unless he feels guys aren’t maximizing what they are capable of doing. But 2016 and 2019 are a couple times I specifically recall him being that direct.

Futhermore on this, I don't remember the last time that Greg was so pointed in calling out his players. Feel like @JacobPadilla_ or @mjdemarinis would be able to pull some all timers out of the back pockets from pressers, but it's been awhile since i've heard Greg that pointed.

I know Vegas is going to be a huge, huge challenge for this squad considering the last few games....but I have faith they'll find it against Iowa State. Don't give up, folks. Give this team some time.

Watching games this season, as a fan, is extremely annoying. ESPN+ sucked last night. I had to subscribe to Peacock last week. 😂😭

Last night obviously wasn't fun, but you can't just throw in the towel on this team. They will figure it out in time...remember this is their SECOND real game together and there is not a lot of senior leadership on this team. Patience, my friends. Give them time.

- This truly might be McDermott’s deepest team. He ran 9 dudes in double digit minutes and Konan had to sit this one out. Deep! - When this team is finally comfortable together, they are going to be a force to be reckoned with. Just a matter of time.

Some thoughts from last night: - Graves is going to be fantastic this year leading this offense. He looked electric last night. - I liked the minutes from Owen Freeman but his physicality on defense was…subpar at best.
