3/3. Timor-Leste’s CDA expressed Dili’s commitment to upholding ASEAN principles and told Myanmar it aims to strengthen bilateral ties with Naypyitaw . Timor-Leste also aims to plan Myanmar visit for its foreign minister.

1/3. Timor-Leste, #Myanmar take steps to boost ties . Myanmar military’s deputy foreign minister recently met Timor-Leste charge d’affaires . This was shortly after Myanmar raised objections to Dili’s bid to join @ASEAN, citing Dili’s interference in Myanmar.

8/8. On a lighter note, I’m reminded by how warm Cambodians are. My team and I have witnessed support & love Cambodians have for one another . While I’m expected to see the worst during such a time, I’m heartened I also manage to see the best in its people

4/8. Many Cambodians appealed to me to “be fair & objective”. That’s exactly what I’m trained to do as a journalist: Being fair, balanced and objective in my reporting while also reflecting my news agency’s ethos of being accurate, timely and contextual

#Myanmar sends back 256 Chinese nationals linked to scam activities in Shan state . This comes after 3-day joint operations with Chinese authorities on Jul 28. They seized 15 buildings believed to be scam centres. 30 desk tops, 311 mobile phones also seized.
