It's definitely the first true Leone in the fact that this is him without studio shackles and truly going all in on his ideas rather than basically copy something and it's all the better for it. The darkest of the trilogy and somehow a bit underrated in the grand scheme of things.

Borderline perfect movie man! Clint delivers a great performance again here but goddamn is Lee Van Cleef the star of this fucking show. He's so stoic yet so likeable and Gian Maria Volonte as El Indio delivers a very fascinating villain and one of my favorites of all time.
