My sister spent the majority of her working life as an NHS nurse. When she has needed the NHS because of Parkinson's Disease it has failed her. Although starting her 3rd PD med today, she is in such a poor physical state that she has started looking for a care home.

New phone call. My sister is going to try another drug, Rasagiline 1mg once a day with an anti-sickness med. Also she will be placed with a new doctor, Dr McGhee who she will at Fleetwood Hospital. He will assess her from scratch along with her previous care.

Looking at a year for a f2f with the neurologist, so trying for an urgent phone appointment. ( Parkinson's nurse ). Could try changing Consultant. 'Advice' is can you go to Spire (privately) to see a Neurologist?

Apparently they are waiting for the Consultant to liase with the Parkinson's nurse, and have tried several times over the past week to contact him. I cannot write what I think of his professional conduct.

Neither my sister or I have heard anything about this morning's letter. I give up and said the only thing left is to sit on the floor at A&E and not move. I called the reception at the surgery and was given the nurse's number, it went straight to leave a message. I have done this
