Some confusion over the 34 bus diversion, because the northbound route (to Ocean Terminal) is different to the city bound route. Going to OT, it goes Lochend Rd, Duke St. Henderson St. But coming back up towards town it goes Bernard St. , Salamander, Links Gdns, Lochend Rd.

WARNING TO 34 & 49 BUS USERS! Because of essential roadworks on Restalrig Road, the 49 and 34 buses have been diverted! The diversion will cause difficulties for bus travellers in this area for quite some time, sadly. For details see-

Today we went to the City Chambers to speak up in support of Councillor Katrina Faccenda’s motion to bring back the Christmas tree, and lights, to Leith’s ‘town centre’ at the Foot of the Walk.

Last week in the Leith area #RetailCrimeTaskforce officers supported the Community Team following the arrest of two individuals for multiple thefts. In total, over 30 theft shoplifting and 5 protection of retail worker act offences were solved Shoplifting is #NotAVictimlessCrime

Police Scotland advise that Constitution Street is currently closed at the junction with Queen Charlotte Street following an incident at 1.35pm Friday, 7 Nov. Tram not running. Emergency services in attendance and the public are advised to avoid the area.

#Leith Suggest people avoid the ‘back route’ up Restalrig Road South and Smokey Brae etc. this morning. Restalrig Avenue is currently (temporarily) closed due to an incident, police are involved.
