Its clipped final moments does dilute intended impact a touch. Nevertheless. THE LONG WALK is an emotionally involving belter of a film. Whole ensemble committed. But there is just something so timeless about David Jonsson. Such a captivating presence. May his star keep rising.

THE ROSES. In its rather broad strokes, it can feel strangely subdued + outdated in places as the stacked ensemble finds its comedic rhythm. But still plenty of laughs scattered throughout, with Colman/Cumberbatch bouncing off each other brilliantly. Solid 3-star fare for me.
