P.S. If you’re scaling globally, this isn’t just a Singapore problem. 🇬🇧 UK = New licensing heat.🇺🇸 US = MSB & BOI rules.🇪🇺 EU = MiCA enforcement is live.🇦🇪 UAE = Two regulators, conflicting timelines.🇭🇰 HK = Custody requirements that stall startups.

The rule kicks in June 30. If you’re not licensed—or didn’t apply for one—you’re officially non-compliant. There’s no grace period. No quiet period. And the regulator isn’t bluffing.

Singapore just introduced a rule called DTSP. It basically says:. “If you’re based in Singapore and do anything with crypto—even for people overseas—you may now need a license.”. It doesn’t matter if you’re a wallet, an exchange, or a token research app.
