I really am thrilled and honoured to have won Local Democracy Reporter of the Year at the Celebrating Brilliant Journalism Awards in Manchester last week. To receive it from @carolvorders - a great champion of journalism - was the icing on the cake.

It appears everything isn't exactly rosy for Reform UK in Cornwall at the moment.

After winning Local Democracy Reporter of the Year UK and Ireland at the Reach awards earlier this year, I’m delighted to have now been shortlisted in the @EditorsUK Media Freedom Awards for regional investigation of the year for what became known as the Spaceport Scandal.
