We don't know if this information is genuine, but it easily could be. Something on this order is likely given the scale of the conflict and Russia's dramatic overmatch in every category.

A good reminder below on the political necessity of reframing defeat as peace. Also, fingers crossed for a swift peace, but seeing is believing.
