How sad for press freedom and democracy, notably in Eastern Europe. And this is a French media guy speaking, not a US fan or staff! Amazing if there is no appeal and no notice period: we hope this is illegal. Do keep in touch with good people who worked for RFE, just in case..

#Russia: #AlexeyNavalny was not just an opponent. He was also an anti-corruption activist who widely promoted investigative journalism to expose the corrupt in the Russian regime. We strongly condemn his political assassination. #RIP
