Presumably, TSD made these two vehicles as demonstrators which were then sold to Tunisia. Information on the TSD APC is limited and the design has since been superseded by the Ibero SMV20.

Around 2018, Tunisia received two Spanish-made armored vehicles, which the manufacturer TSD simply referred to as APC. The APC is easily confused with the Italian-made Iveco VM90P, due to its visual resemblance.

Emirati-made IAG Jaws APCs of the Botswana Police Service. By February 2017, 2 were delivered through the South African company Land Mobility Technologies as the LM5. Another 4 were delivered by IAG around 2023.

In 2025, the General Security Force, a military group aligned with the GNU in Libya, received unknown numbers of UAE-made Secure Armoured Vehicles Defender 300 APCs. This design is also offered by the Emirati company Tailored Armored Vehicles

The same type of vehicle as used by the RSF is operated by the LNA in Libya. The LNA also received more vehicle variants in late 2024/2025 (see image 3 & 4) which I think could originate from the same manufacturer. However, which manufacturer that is I don't know
Accounts on here keep repeating the terrible ID of this vehicle, even though none of the details on this vehicle match URO Vamtac ST5... I'm still trying to ID that thing by the way, my bets are it is produced by some UAE or Chinese company.

My latest for @tanksenc, a detailed look into the use of the Emirati Calidus MCAV-20 in Africa and the Middle East. I must thank accounts like @BlazianP and @HammerOfWar5 for regularly sharing pictures of these vehicles here on X, it makes researching this topic more bearable :)
https://t.co/kPhGP0eU3B Starting from the 2000s, the United Arab Emirates has become an increasingly serious player in the global defense industry, hosting a multitude of advanced defense technology companies. One such company is Calidus LLC.

Pictures of the IAG Rila Xtreme Ambulance, 4 of which were operated by the EU Training Mission in Mali (EUTM Mali). After the mission mandate ended in 2024, all 4 were donated to the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX Kosovo) in early September 2025

Chinese-made Dongfeng EQ5090XFBZJ in Sudanese service. These were probably delivered in the mid-2000s. Due to its visual resemblance, it is sometimes confused with the related ZFB-05, or the French-made Acmat TPK 420 BL. The Dongfeng is also used by China and Mozambique.

Uganda is now the 9th known operator (not the 7th @JanesINTEL :) of the Emirati-made Calidus MCAV-20. At least 7 are seen on these photos. As these were used for training, delivery numbers are certainly higher. Of note are the modified turrets with rear view mirrors

https://t.co/UMLuAEM4lu Most attempts to develop an armored vehicle industry begin modestly. With limited financial resources and without an industry having the right tooling to provide specific parts for armored vehicles...

Also a rare glimpse of an Enok 6.2 LAPV. Three were donated to Burkina Faso by Germany in September 2023, as part of a larger aid package
While Niger terminates intelligence sharing with Morocco under allegations that they were leaking information to France, Burkina Faso deepens ties with Morocco, by receiving anti-IED training by Moroccan armed forces.

My latest article for Tanks Encyclopedia, a deep dive into the widespread use of the Gurkha by @TerradyneArmor. I've already covered its predecessors, the Armet Balkan and Gurkha in separate articles on the website
https://t.co/u0Ss9yRzFa The Terradyne Gurkha is famously known for its use in film production and its casual appearance on the streets in its civilian edition. It is also offered as a serious solution for law enforcement and militaries.

The Armed Forces of the Republic of Congo (FAC) will present their new acquisitions on August 15, 2025. Among the new acquisitions, we can already mention Chinese-made PTL-02A (WMA301) self-propelled howitzers, equipped with 105 mm guns A first @HammerOfWar5

Hidden beneath the netting are at least 4 vehicle types not seen before in Chad. Although mostly Russian Spartak APCs, further seen are Spartaks with a different front design (very clear in the image 2), an Emirati Streit Gladiator (image 3) and a Streit Spartan MAV (image 4)

The Ivorian Army showed 2 Streit/KrAZ Shrek during the recent parade. At least 3 were acquired by 2023. The type was also acquired by Burkina Faso (3) and Mali (2). About 30 were used by MINUSMA (Nepali and Cambodian contingents) who liked the large troop compartment with A/C
