It’s in my opinion, a bit early to cutting all those jobs and replace it all by AI. It looks more like a reorganisation and AI is the pretext for it.
Today Microsoft announced they're cutting roughly 4% of the company — or approx. 9,000 employees . Departments to be most impacted are marketing, sales, and the Xbox gaming division. It's all ogre.

Opportunity is way too huge for Zuck & Meta to be sideline . LLMs Market is trillons of $ . Investing 1 or 2b in salary for the world best talent in the world is worth it . I hope the culture and mission at meta is well defined for those employees, otherwise the risk churn after.

This is another hallucination from a LLM, not AGI.
Some of those failures were very weird indeed. At one point, Claude hallucinated that it was a real, physical person, and claimed that it was coming in to work in the shop. We’re still not sure why this happened.
