100 years ago: On Jan. 8, 1926, Andy Smith, @CalFootball's greatest coach, died of pneumonia at age 42. His record at Cal was 74-16-7, his teams going undefeated 5 straight years, 1920-24 & winning 4 national championships. Below: 1926 Big Game program's tribute to Coach Smith.
